How to Cheat in Photoshop CS5 is an great book and I would recommend it to any experienced Photoshop user. The title “to cheat” refers to working smarter, faster and with more believable results. This is not a beginners how-to book, it is definitely for the intermediate to advanced Photoshop user and there is the assumption that the reader already has basic knowledge of Photoshop.

As a Graphic Artist I am naturally a visual creature. I can read instructions and actually enjoy doing so when necessary. But, if you're like me, punching the HELP button on any given application does not always provide the guidance you are looking for. Instructions in most HELP guides provide only a text explanation with no visuals. For me, the degree of explanation clarity is often in question.

This book is split into 15 chapters, each presenting lessons for the reader to work through. As a companion to the text, it also comes with a DVD filled with exercise files and video tutorials. As a “Flash” instructor I am always seeking new and exciting ways to enthuse and engage new students. I was not disappointed!
