Version:
2.55 for Photoshop CS4/CS5 (64 bit)
The only complaint that I have is my procrastion. I was unable to finish my review before the 15 days expired, therefore I used the demo version which adds a watermark over the screen shots and dotted lines across the final image. Being fairly new to plug-ins, I am under the impression that I could still acquire the same effects using just Photoshop. Ozone made it easier and the final result looks much better then, images I have tried to do the same thing with, just using Photoshop.
I started with an image from Stock.XCHNG in Photoshop CS4 (64 bit)

Using the image as a whole did not give me the effects I wanted because the roses drop shadow was changed, which was not the effect I was looking for. The solution was to us the pen tool and create a mask around the rose.

As you can see the interface is beautiful. Ozone has 11 zones that can be extracted using luminance, hue, saturation, average, red, green, blue, layer mask, cyan, magenta or yellow. Luminance is the one I used for this project. Forgive the watermarks please, you can use all the options even if the trial expires before getting around to experimenting. There are 11 sliders used to make the changes within each zone. It is not neccessary to use all zones to achieve the desired effect. Above zone area are 3 options, output, orginal and zone, you can move between each option for different views of the image. Toggle switches are placed above image for viewing options. Below the sliders there is a box that has an image of the zone you are working with. The white area shows target area for adjustment.

Zone 3 in output view was where I chose to start.

Moving into the center I went to zone 2 next. See how the zone image changes and the center area is white.

Moving down into the center here is zone 1.

Going back to zone two more adjustments were added. Notice the in the zone area there is no white. This is because I reduced the range to 0. Not sure I underatand what happened, but I was happy with the results. Just goes to show that we need to play with all aspects of this program to see what works.

It was hard to see in the last image but there werel green specks throught the image that were not appealing. Since most of the rose showed up on zone 5, I went back there and reduced the green slider until all spots disappeared. The above image shows one of the toggle switches in action. We have the orginal and output combined.

After using the done switch to render previous effects, the rose was deleted from a duplicate layer in Photoshop and the layer was brought into Ozone.

Another toggle switch is used here to see orginal and output together. I have made all my adjust and am happy with the effects.

Viola! I can now use the image within the color scheme of my project. The dotted lines across completed image are because of...yes...you got it right..THE DEMO MODE. Please do not think your licensed verison will have them.
This plug-in is a mere $50.00 and can be bundled with other plug-ins from Digital Film Tools for incredible values. Try them you will not be disappointed.
