Magic Bullet PhotoLooks 1.5 allows you to easily experiment with different lighting effects without damaging photographic detail. It comes with over 100 presets which you can quickly click through to see how each would affect the photograph you're working with. Sometimes the presets are just what you're looking for, but if not, PhotoLooks gives you the option to adjust each individual element and/or add/delete elements to get the exact look you're going for.
I used PhotoLooks as a Photoshop plug in. Since it is used as a filter in Photoshop you have the ability to apply it as a smart filter. I would highly recommend doing this as it allows you to go back in and make changes without starting over. With the layer you are working on selected, simply go to the Filter menu and click Convert for Smart Filters, then apply PhotoLooks as usual.

The menus in the LooksBuilder roll out from either side of the screen. Above you can see the Looks menu, which has looks categorized so you can easily find what you're looking for. I do like this feature, however it covers part of the image preview, so I wish it was a little narrower. Below is the view with the Tools menu rolled out, which also has sub menus.

On the bottom row are the tools that are applied to the current look. To adjust an individual element, simply click on that tool and the settings appear at the right for you to edit. If you wish to add another tool, all you have to do is drag and drop it on the image from the tools menu. The same if you wish to delete a tool, drag it from the bottom off to the right side and that effect is no longer applied. The red toggles you see allow you to turn tools on/off to see how they affect the image. You can turn off individual tools (see blue circle on above image), or all tools to see the original image (see yellow circle).
Below is an image that I applied the Swing Tilt Film look to. I have moved the yellow cross bars you see to adjust the focus to where I wanted it for this particular image. Also, on the bottom right of the screen you can edit the blur size and quality for this tool. After I made adjustments the name of the look (circled in yellow below) changed to Untitled Look. By double clicking here I can name the look since I have personalized it with my own adjustments. After naming, the look is saved under Custom looks on the rollout menu.

Here is the original image I started with and the final product after I applied and adjusted the Swing Tilt Film look.

Below are a couple more images I edited in Magic Bullet PhotoLooks.
