As a long time flash user it took me a while to get up to speed on having to relearn how Flash user ActionScript 3.0 for some previously simple functions such as button reactions and other methods in flash.

The book does a very good job providing examples for people new to ActionScript 3.0. As a designer I felt it did a great job getting me into figuring out how to write the new code required for things that used to be fairly easy, but now have changed a great deal.

Highly recommended for designers trying to 'get the job done'.
