I always like it when the author explains what the book covers and what it does not, clearly and in the beginning. This book covers that point well, so I knew ahead of time exactly what to expect without skimming the book to discover on my own.

The assumptions are a nice touch. That way again, in the beginning, you know right away if this book is geared to your level of experience and area of expertise.

Lots of supporting links is always a great touch. Plenty of links included here.

Since the Apollo technology is new and unique, I was pleased that they covered setting up a development environment in great detail. A quick start guide with great coverage of the basics followed.

The natural flow after the basics was a nice little cookbook section. Plenty of nice examples showing how to use the technology in real life.

Overall, the book does a nice job of covering this emerging new and exciting technology. I look forward to seeing how it evolves and look forward to developing my own applications with Apollo, using tools that I already own and use.
