This is off-topic and but the creators of another magazine here in town are trying to start a comic book/magazine highlighting the talents of local female illustrators, artists & designers. (They figured since it's a primarily male industry, it would be good to showcase some of the female talent in the area as well...) I told them about our group, and they said they'd love to meet any DMAGers who might be interested.

Right now, they are looking for local artists only, but if you know any talented ladies in Central KY or surrounding areas, let them know there will be a recruitment night early next week. I don't know the exact details yet, but I will definitely be attending, so they can contact me if they'd like to come, too.

Check with your friends, family, co-workers, professors, or classmates and let me know if you might be interested :)
