Since our last meeting, I have made some changes to the site based on feedback and feature requests I received.

I have added Member Blogs for Paying Members. There is a new link in the navigation section on the left. If you Click "Blogs" there is a link to "My blog" which will take you to your blog. Another way to get to this is to go to the "My account" link and click "View recent blog entries".

I have also added a forum. Everyone can view the forum but only paying members can post their questions. I will add categories as I receive some feedback about what categories members would like to see. Drop me a note and let me know.

I have added another feature that is available to Guest and Paying members. You now have the ability to hide the advertising once you have logged in. To do this, simply Click the "My Account" link and then click the "Edit" tab. Scroll down to the "Blocks" section and uncheck the checkboxes. Voila! no more adds for you.

I am working on adding a calendar. I have installed it, but still need to get it configured. I don't think it wil be very useful until we get another column added to this template, which is also on my list of things to do. I'll try to get to is sometime in the very near future.

I have also submitted the site to over 100 Engines and various Lists so if you want to plug your business with the new blog, I expect we will start getting a good amount of traffic in the very near future.

Another small enhancement that anyone who has tried to contact me via email recently will appreciate is that the webmaster email is now being routed to my phone. This means that I will actually get the email on the day it was sent, since I sometimes don't fire up my home pc after I get home from work.
