Lexington's chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness has featured DMAG in their recent weekly newsletter. Although they made a typo in the name, they did include a link to our website - and provided free promotion for our group among all of their Central Kentucky members. If you're interested in learning more about NAMI Lex you can visit their site at http://www.namilex.org (Thanks to DMAGer GG Burns for sharing this information with us!) |

DMAGAZINE is currently looking for our next cover artist!! Our Summer 2010 issue (aka Issue #2) will be released in late August, and will be the FIRST issue to feature cover art from one of our members! We are looking for digital images, photographs, designs, and illustrations representing Kentucky. Images should be your own original work, edited or created with help from digital software, and high-resolution 300dpi JPG or TIFF files. If you or anyone you know might be interested, send your content submissions to:

DMAG has been featured on the main page of the digieffects website! Check out http://www.digieffects.com for more information. Also the company is having a ONE DAY SALE allowing you to save 50% off Atmosphere - this is a great plugin, and a great deal, but you have to place an order within the next 24 hours to take advantage of it.

We're already off to a great start with the new magazine! HUGE THANKS to Chris Wells and Joe for volunteering to submit articles and information as well as helping with the layout & desing. We've received some content submissions and we're working on securing advertisers and sponsors for future issues. There's still a LOT of work to be done, though, so we could use YOUR help! |

Hey everyone, This is my first official D-MAG blog post (go me!). I am just posting to let everyone know that we've started some discussions in the forum about ideas for the upcoming magazine. If anyone would like to contribute to the discussion, be sure to reply. We still have a lot of magazine sections, articles & interviews that we could use YOUR help with - and we're always looking for content submissions! Hope to hear from you all soon! -Brittany |
